During this educational, no-obligation session, one of our knowledgeable daylighting experts will listen to your needs, recommend a customized lighting solution, perform a feasibility check, and provide you with a no-hassle quote.
Option 2- Schedule a Consultation/Install
Another option is for us to send out an experienced installer. He will go over product choices and placement considerations with you before performing the installaion. The average installation takes about 2 hours.

To ensure your Sun Cat products are kept in optimum condition it may be necessary to have someone come out to do routine maintenance.
For a fee of $100.00, we will inspect the product and do the following:
- Paint roof flashing
- Clean out ceiling diffuser & tubing
- Change Night Light batteries (batteries provided)
- Check tubing in the attic, put back insulation
- For light kits, change light bulbs. (Light bulbs are provided)
$100.00 fee is for one tube, additional tubes are $40.00 each. For *Solar Star Attic fans the fee is $85.00 with no charge for additional units.

Thank you for purchasing a Solatube Daylighting System featuring breakthrough technology for higher performance. Solatube International, Inc. guarantees that when using the Natural Effect Lens**, the 160 DS and 290 DS Daylighting Systems deliver more Average Daily Light on an Annual Basis (as determined by the methodology set forth below) than other passive tubular daylighting devices having the same "L over D ratio" (as defined below) that are widely commercially available on the market at the time of your purchase. We are totally confident that no other product offers the total annual performance of a Solatube product. We will give you YOUR MONEY BACK (retail purchase price) if you find such a product.
Limitations on Guarantee
Guarantee offer applies only to products purchased for personal use. Offer is only valid for products assembled and installed according to manufacturer's specifications. Offer excludes new products manufactured by Solatube International, Inc. The guarantee excludes all other products, except Solatube 160 DS and 290 DS products, manufactured by Solatube International, Inc. Offer expires one year from product purchase date.
Methodology for Determining Average Daily Light on an Annual Basis (ADLAB)
The ADLAB is determined by measuring the light output of a system at each hour during daylight hours on the 21st day of March, June, September and December. To determine the ADLAB, these measurements are then added together and divided by the total number of measurements taken. To compare ADLABs, the systems compared must have the same ratio of Length of daylighting tube divided by the Diameter of the tube opening. This is called the "L over D ratio." Testing must be completed by a certified testing agency.
To Make A Claim
If you believe that you have found a qualifying product that outperforms your Solatube Daylighting System, please send a written refund request with your original purchase receipt with the Solatube product circled, and written test results from a valid testing agency to Solatube International, Inc., Attn: Performance Guarantee, 2210 Oak Ridge Way, Vista, CA 92081. Requests must be postmarked within 365 days of purchase date. Solatube International, Inc. reserves the right to audit any testing or to retest to confirm results.
How State Law Applies
This guarantee gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions. Whenever appearing herein, "SOLATUBE" shall mean the manufacturer of the Goods. "Customer" shall mean the person or company designated as such on the reverse; and "Goods" shall mean those goods described on the reverse.
2. Warranty on Goods. SOLATUBE warrants that all goods are free from defects of workmanship and/or material for a period of ten years from the date of purchase. Should any goods be determined by SUN CAT SKYLIGHTS to be defective, at the option
of SOLATUBE, such goods shall either be replaced or repaired and returned to Costumer free from defect. Customer shall give notice of any defect to SUN CAT SKYLIGHTS within thirty days of discovery of such defect.
3. Warranty on Installation. SUN CAT SKYLIGHTS warrants that if SUN CAT SKYLIGHTS installs goods, the installation of goods will be free from defects in workmanship for a period of five years from the date of installation. Should such installation be
determined by SUN CAT SKYLIGHTS to be defective, SUN CAT SKYLIGHTS shall repair the defect. Customer shall give notice of any such defect to SUN CAT SKYLIGHTS within thirty days of discovery of such defect, SUN CAT SKYLIGHTS does not warrant
the labor of any installation not performed by SUN CAT SKYLIGHTS.
4. Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability. In no event shall SOLATUBE or SUNCATSKYLIGHTS be liable for loss of profits, indirect, special imcident, consequential or other similar damages, including but not limited to any claim or demand arising out of the installation, existence, furnishing or functioning of any of the goods or use by any customer or third party of any product. In no event shall SOLATUBE have any liability for any breach of warranty for improrer installation of the goods. The liability of SUN CAT SKYLIGHTS
to the customer for all claims with respect to installation shall be limited to the lesser of (a) the cost of installing equivalent goods; or (b) the cost of installation; (c) the cost of reinstalling the goods.
